Located in Vancouver's Japantown, Oppenheimer Park has been here since 1898. The park was named for Vancouver's second Mayor, David Oppenheimer. It was once known for the Industrial Baseball League and it's fountain donated by Dr. H. M. Nomura in 1920. In 1997, a 30' totem pole was carved to represent the past people of the DTES and to give strength to those still there.
**All products come unfinished. Each pipe is coated with a thin layer of oil to keep from rusting during shipping. We recommend wiping them down thoroughly. You can paint them fun colours or leave them as-is. The shelf can be stained, painted or whatever your heart desires. Assembly required.
